Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I’ve been told the alwaysLit can be used on more than just pipes and cigarette packs, is that true?
A: Although the
alwaysLit is specifically designed for pipes and cigarette packs, there’s
nothing we love more than customer ingenuity.
Here are some of the places we’ve heard the alwaysLit used:
(submit your own uses at customerservice@alwayslit.com)
Places the cigarette pack has been clipped:
Bikini bottoms and tops, Car visor, Baseball cap, Tote bag, Purse, Backpack, Construction vest, Window shade (according to this submitter, she clips it on the shade behind the couch and can watch tv without ever having to look for her cigarettes or lighter).
Pipe alwaysLits have been placed on:
Wrists, Looped through belts, Gear shifters, Beer bottle (used as a communal ashtray during a weekly poker game. AlwaysLit - all in)
Q: Is this truly the greatest thing since sliced bread?
A: Not to pat ourselves on the back here, but we’re pretty sure it’s even better than sliced bread. Sure, we take a backseat to the wheel. But we’re OK with that.
Q: We are a retail outlet interested in selling the alwaysLit in our stores, do you sell at wholesale prices?
A: Yes, there is an entire retail operation set up, with samples, marketing and public relations materials, website integration, localized mailing lists. Please contact sales@alwayslit.com
Q: I noticed my cigarette pack alwaysLit has a belt clip on it. What’s the deal?
A: The belt clip is optional. It’s easily removed. But our European customers have enjoyed the ease at which they can clip it to their belts and have their cigarettes handy. Make sure to secure the clip in by making sure the alwaysLit’s elastic is inside the clip’s hook.
Q: Will the alwaystLit fit every smoking device out there?
A: The cigarette pack version is standard size for hard and soft packs. As the spectrum of tobacco water pipe sizes is tremendously broad, the alwaysLit was designed to fit the most common pipe sizes. As it is held in place with an elastic band, we haven’t seen a pipe yet it won’t fit, but we haven’t seen every pipe out there, either.
Q: Why didn’t I think of this?
A: You probably did, but you forgot to write it down. Happens all the time. That’s OK, you can still enjoy the alwaysLit.
Q: I heard the alwaysLit is patented? Is that true?
A:Yes, it is. And thank you to our lawyer for submitting that last question.
